Kathleen shared some extremely important points about how leaders are learners. I am a big proponent of providing my staff with personalized support because I firmly believe that not only the students learn at a different pace and are at a different stage of their knowing process, the teachers are also at different stages in their professional development process. Kathleen’s is an amazing leader who has provided my school with the professional and emotional support that had been crucial for our school’s growth, especially when our school is in the transition phase from a more traditional methodology to personalized learning approach. The professional development day where Kathleen was a key presenter, gave my teachers a great insight into project-based learning and student agency among other important topics.
