Science Night Photos:  Children direct this event with the teachers. They lead the parts of the event. They create their science investigations to share with families and community.  Grade levels organize their presentations to share their science inquiry, assigning museum docents (students) to present to guests.  Children check-in all guests in the front hallway. They serve as Junior Scientists to assist our guest speakers.  Children help guest speakers set-up and take down their exhibits.  In addition, students participate in hands-on experiments that guest speakers bring to the program. The keynote speaker is invited to share current research to our community.  The power of children sharing their learning develops self-regulation and an inner control.  It helps children to express their learning to the community.
